Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Fair Waves Coffee Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
    • Portion and wrap foods for customers
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Inventory Management
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
