eTeam Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
  • Cabling and Infrastructure: Design, install, and maintain data center cabling infrastructure, including Cat6, multi-mode, and single-mode fiber cables.
  • Power Distribution and Management: Install, configure, and maintain power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and other power management systems.
  • Cable Management and Testing: Ensure proper cable management, including cable dressing, bend radius, and other best practices. Perform cable testing using Fluke testers.
  • Change Management and Documentation: Work with internal tools to navigate change management processes and maintain accurate documentation of data center infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Hardware Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with data center hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Cabling Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with data center cabling infrastructure design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Power Distribution and Management: Minimum 1 year of experience with power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and other power management systems.
  • Cable Management and Testing: Minimum 1 year of experience with cable management, including cable dressing, bend radius, and other best practices.
  • Change Management and Documentation: Minimum 1 year of experience with internal tools and change management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leading Cable Supplier Certification: Certification from leading cable suppliers, such as Panduit, Belden, and CommScope.
  • Fluke Tester Certification: Certification in the use of Fluke testers for cable testing.
