Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data from various sources to identify trends and areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure.
- Database Development: Develop and maintain computer databases to store and manage our data.
- Reporting and Documentation: Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Test data models and database management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Database Design and Development: Design and develop databases to meet our business needs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Operate database management systems to analyze data and generate reports.
- Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models.
- Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, and data access rules.
- Policy Development: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
- Scripting and Development: Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers.
- Education: Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), PowerBuilder, R, MS SQL Server, MySQL, data analysis software, MS Office, Python.
