About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer III to join our team at Wayfair. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based infrastructure and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize engineering initiatives
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, and system administration
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
