About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at B Boyz. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Team Leadership
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
    • Hire and supervise food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and service
