Job Summary

EPCM is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of our outdoor spaces. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, and organize the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Planning and Budgeting: Plan and estimate labor and materials, and requisition or order necessary supplies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for services and materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions: 35 to 40 hours per week, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
