Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

EPCM is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will have a strong background in grounds maintenance and a proven track record of supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring they are properly maintained and cared for.
- Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Work Scheduling: Schedule work to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Labour and Materials Planning: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for maintenance projects.
- Construction and Repair: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and repair and maintain equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs.
- Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for maintenance services.
- Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a regular 35-40 hour workweek.
- Work Language: English language proficiency required.
