Culinary Team Leader - Food Preparation

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Leader to oversee food preparation and kitchen operations at our Dairy Queen/Orange Julius locations.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality dishes.
  3. Ordering supplies and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  4. Supervising kitchen staff and helpers to meet production demands.
  5. Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize resources.
  6. Cleaning kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

You will also contribute to:

  1. Prolonged standing and physical activity throughout your shift.
  2. A dynamic and fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and manage kitchen operations.
  2. Dependability and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  3. Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain inventory and records.
  4. A client-focused approach to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

This is a permanent position offering 33-35 hours per week. The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000-$60,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
