Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at RhynoCare. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
- Coordinate resident transfers and discharges in a safe and timely manner.
- Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including the Long Term Care Act and the Health Disciplines Act.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
