Job Title: Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator (ECE-IT)

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As an Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programs for infants and toddlers
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in your care
  • Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure seamless care and education

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator License to Practice
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search
