Job Title: Flooring Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Flooring Operations Manager to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of flooring materials, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of tilesetters and other flooring installation teams
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material requisition and equipment setup
  • Estimate costs and materials for flooring projects
  • Train or arrange for training of employees on new skills and equipment
  • Manage and maintain a team of 5-10 employees, including tilesetters
  • Provide awareness training to employees on diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
