About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our global team as a Customer Service Engineer. You'll be responsible for servicing imaging equipment in the Houston, TX area, working with minimal supervision to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service imaging equipment in the Houston, TX area
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs, as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance
  • Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management
  • Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as perform necessary administrative duties accurately

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting
  • Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools
  • 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone
