About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framing Carpenter to join our team at AP Group Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts in accordance with local building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other team members, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Excellent physical stamina, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending and crouching.
  • Tight deadlines and a fast-paced work environment.
