About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at The Avara Group Inc. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as chain saws, forklifts, and rototillers.
  • Perform manual labour tasks, including raking, collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.
  • Apply fertilizers and water plants, lawns, and gardens as needed.
  • Write daily progress reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience with chain saws, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
