Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in Parksville, BC. This is a Full Time opportunity requiring 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures
- Consult with management when resolving issues related to day-to-day work functions
- Communicate effectively with the resident care team while maintaining professionalism
- Maintain accurate and organized resident health records
- Data entry using Kroll and other systems
- Familiarity with provincial and federal laws governing pharmacy practice
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT)
- Ability to foster strong partnerships with healthcare team members
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
- Demonstrated fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage changing priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Competitive hourly rate: $30-$34/hour
