About the Role

Precise Ark Inc is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure efficient data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure
  • Develop and implement database management systems to support business operations
  • Document customer requirements and reporting needs to ensure accurate data delivery
  • Enforce data security measures to prevent unauthorized access
  • Liaise with staff to ensure data requirements are met and data is available when needed
  • Provide guidance on database management tools to informatics professionals
  • Setup IT infrastructure to enable applications to access databases
  • Test data models and database management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Design and develop databases to support business needs
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and data backup and recovery
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. If you are a quick learner, a team player, and have a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Information technology (IT) service provider experience
Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
