As an Asphalt Labourer, you'll play a critical role in our construction projects, working on a wide range of buildings, structures, and premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and distribute construction materials, including loading and unloading vehicles with supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Work on various construction sites, including municipal sewer and water mains, roads, dams, bridges, tunnels, railways, and canals.
  • Remove rubble and other debris, and prepare and clean up construction sites.
  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades at construction sites.
  • Perform demolition, excavation, and compaction activities.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction experience or equivalent.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201 certification.
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Experience with compactors and trampers.
  • Lifting capacity of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and ability to work in a team.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Proficient English language skills.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
