We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our team at Wesco International, Inc. As a Senior Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
- Market and Sell Products: Effectively market and sell Wesco's products and services to existing and potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our customer base.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
- Qualify and Develop Opportunities: Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback, reporting insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Lead and Mentor Team Members: May function as a lead for other Inside Sales Representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: In-depth knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration (4-5 years) required.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in a team environment and mentor/coach team members.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts, and solve difficult and sometimes moderately complex problems.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
