Nursing Leadership Position in Community Care

Job Title: Manager of NursingEstimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per yearJob Description:We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to join our team as a Manager of Nursing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of safe, effective, and high-quality client care within your program area.
You will work collaboratively with staff, clients, and families to achieve positive outcomes, while promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and compassion.
- Provide professional and practice leadership to staff
- Ensure the delivery of in-home care services meets regulatory guidelines and VON policies
- Monitor performance related to funder expectations and contribute to quality improvement activities
- Apply knowledge of relevant collective agreements and local labor rules
- Participate in budget preparation and financial performance management
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor or Post-Secondary education in a related field
- Regulated Health Professional certification as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 2 years' experience managing others
- Experience in community work and working with community partners
- Experience engaging with municipal, provincial, and national external groups
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
