Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Transport patients to appointments and activities.
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as assigned by the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Nursing Aide Certificate.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, nursing homes, and group homes.
