We are seeking a skilled Mason - Concrete Specialist to join our team at BS-1 Masonry Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of concrete workmanship on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to meet client expectations.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure structural integrity.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent water damage and extend the lifespan of concrete structures.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the masonry trade.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
