Job Summary

Disability Solutions is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to our steps of service. This includes preparing cold and hot beverages to our standards, ensuring accuracy when entering information into the POS system, and monitoring food quality and presentation standards. Additionally, you will respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to our high standards, including cold and hot drinks.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grab & go area, including cleaning materials and ensuring all areas are free from clutter.
• Monitor and maintain food quality and presentation standards, including rotating and storing grab & go products.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and safely, including following all food safety standards and systems.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, and support the growth and development of our team members.

Requirements

• Prior Barista experience is desirable, with Smart Serve certification required.
• High attention to detail and cleanliness, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum, while being able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and sales ability, with the ability to engage our guests and promote our products.
• Experience in a similar environment is an asset, with a willingness to learn and grow with our company.
