Job Title: Director of Care/Deputy Administrator (Clinical)

This role reports directly to the Administrator of Glen Stor Dun Lodge and requires day-to-day leadership and oversight. The successful candidate will facilitate quality improvement within the home, advancing knowledge in Long-Term Care and influencing system-wide changes. They will also establish practice standards for registered and non-registered staff.

The ideal candidate creates an atmosphere conducive to achieving high levels of quality of life and health and safety for both residents and employees.

  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in the long-term care sector.
  • Experience in supervising or directing registered and unregistered staff in a long-term care environment (an asset).
  • Familiarity with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care regulations (preferred).
  • Oral and written fluency in both official languages (English and French) an asset.
