Octopus Academy Richmond is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

We are committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of young children. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in leading daily activities, developing and implementing child-care programs, and establishing a secure and healthy atmosphere for our children.

  • Salary: $20.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Your responsibilities will include bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers, as well as assisting and leading children in the development of essential life skills. You will also be responsible for supervising and offering activity recommendations to early childhood educators and assistants, building cooperative relationships with staff members, and recognizing potential signs of learning or behavioral issues in children.

  • Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
  • Certificates: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, E.C.E. Certificate, and IT Certificate
