Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing labour target rates and managing project timelines
  • Communicating daily with the project team and ensuring all stakeholders are informed
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers
  • Identifying potential conflicts and negotiating best solutions
  • Main point of contact for assigned scope of work
  • Leading project kickoffs, hand-offs, and autopsy meetings with the project team

You will also be responsible for:

  • Working with Safety, Site Supervisor, and Foreman to ensure all safety measures are in place
  • Pre-planning the execution of projects and developing schedules with the project team
  • Developing, tracking, and negotiating change orders
  • Ensuring time, cost, and overall project performance

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, particularly in curtain wall construction
  • Education in civil engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
