Job Summary
The Senior Credit Underwriting Analyst plays a critical role in reviewing and recommending residential mortgage loans, ensuring they meet our high standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex loan applications, identifying potential risks, and making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze credit file documentation to assess loan applications against Residential Mortgage Underwriting Guidelines.
  • Make credit recommendations/approvals on individual mortgage deals within delegated authority limits.
  • Ensure data accuracy/integrity and consistency with internal standards.
  • Prioritize applications and workflow to maintain consistent and sound risk assessments.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • University degree or equivalent in finance, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three to five years' experience in residential mortgage origination (underwriting and operational).
  • Solid understanding of Alt-A products, operations, processes, services, systems, and associated risks and controls.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
