Global SAP Payroll Expert

Newmont Inc., a leading gold company and producer of copper, silver, zinc, and lead, is seeking a highly skilled SAP Payroll Senior Specialist to join its global support team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions for the SAP Employee Central Payroll solution and SAP S/4 Hana Payroll Solution.
Key Responsibilities- Ongoing Maintenance: Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the SAP Payroll system, including HRSPs, upgrades, maintenance plans, and ticket resolution.
- Global Payroll Solutions: Analyzing, advising, and supporting global payroll solutions to ensure compliance with Newmont's policies and legislation.
- IT Projects and Production: Supporting IT projects and production activities for the Argentinian Payroll and other countries in the Americas.
- Solution Design and Delivery: Designing and delivering payroll solutions that meet the needs of Newmont's global operations.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Testing the payroll solution to ensure it meets the required standards and quality.
- Documentation and Communication: Providing detailed documentation of business requirements and solutions for payroll, as well as communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Integration and Partnerships: Partnering with business and IT areas to satisfy integration requirements for payroll, following Newmont's standards, policies, and legislation.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Planning and coordinating the implementation process for payroll solutions.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues, team members, supervisors, vendors, and other Newmont personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Education: B.Sc. in Information Technology or Production Engineering or Computer Science is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant, with 5 years of experience in full Payroll Implementations in the SAP Payroll solution.
- Skills: Strong technical skills in SAP Payroll, including experience with SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll, Point to Point replication, and Payroll Control Center.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of HCM ABAP, Payroll Interfacing, and integration with UKG Dimensions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Competitive Salary: The salary range offered for this role is CAD 114,000 to 151,000, tied to the Ontario market for jobs performed in Canada.
- Benefits: Eligibility for participation in a discretionary short-term incentive program, as well as group benefits plans such as life insurance and pension, extended medical, dental, disability, and vision.
- Work-Life Balance: Approximately 40 hours per week work schedule, with flexible hours to accommodate global support times.
