Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at IMP Group. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical code specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment and installations.
- Work from elevated heights and confined spaces while utilizing fall protection training and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic mechanical work, and assist with emergency maintenance situations.
- Follow the Canadian Electrical Code, local building codes and regulations, and Company policy or procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot electrical equipment issues using testing devices.
- Repair and maintain high-voltage systems, electrical motors, generators, and control systems.
Requirements:
- Completion of High School or equivalent experience and/or training.
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification and minimum of 5 years industry experience with equipment controls.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
