The Compliance Specialist (Inventory) will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our cannabis inventory. They will be responsible for managing the inventory of cannabis material and byproducts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of inventory levels and movement, collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, providing training and support to colleagues on inventory management and compliance procedures, and participating in regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Manage the inventory of cannabis material and byproducts, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory levels and movement, including daily reports and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including testing and inspection of inventory.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, including streamlining workflows and reducing errors.
• Provide training and support to colleagues on inventory management and compliance procedures, including SOPs and company policies.
• Participate in regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance, including internal audits and external audits by regulatory agencies.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, compliance, or a related field, preferably in the cannabis industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software, including elevated signals.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, with ability to stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license, with ability to travel to different locations as needed.
• Knowledge of cannabis regulations and laws, with ability to stay up-to-date on changes and updates.
