HUB International Manitoba Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for interacting with commercial clients, maintaining professional business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers, and managing an entire book of business.
The Opportunity
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will review and prepare commercial client files, lead marketing efforts, and evaluate and price insured risk. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in risk management and business development.
What You Will Bring
- A minimum Level 2 license is required; completion of CAIB is preferred.
- Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial property is required.
- Should have a basic level of understanding in specialty lines.
- 2 - 5 years' experience in commercial insurance is a definite asset.
- Ability to multi-task and interact in a professional manner with clients, colleagues, and operational functions.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward the work at hand.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal daily direction.
- Proficient computer skills with Broker Management Software Systems; including Policy Works.
