About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Credit Analyst to join our Credit Portfolio Management group within Global Banking and Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing credit portfolios, analyzing financial data, and identifying potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage credit portfolios for Project Finance sectors, including Energy, Infrastructure, and Metals & Mining
  • Process amendments, waivers, and consents for assigned transactions, preparing credit applications and obtaining internal credit approvals
  • Prepare annual credit reviews, including financial analysis, projection updates, and rating assessments
  • Monitor and analyze counterparty risks, including covenant compliance, Unlikely To Pay events, and DSRC metrics
  • Perform quarterly watch-list and provision reviews, presenting findings to the Business Line and Risk department
  • Prepare reports and responses to regulators, including the US Shared National Credit
  • Assist in internal and external audits and examinations of portfolios from a credit risk standpoint
  • Participate in the workout of troubled portfolio credits in close cooperation with the Risk Asset Recovery group
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience, preferably in Project Finance
  • Experience in credit analysis and portfolio management
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Financial and credit analytical skills, with ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of cash flow modeling, analysis, and valuation skills developed in a financial services environment
