Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Editor to join our team at Kitco Metals. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of materials for publication, broadcast, or publication on the internet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate suitability of material for publication, broadcast, or publication on the internet
  • Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Shorten or lengthen copy
  • Plan coverage of upcoming events and assign work accordingly
  • Confer with authors, staff writers, reporters, and others regarding revisions to copy
  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of staff and assure production deadlines are met
  • Write or prepare introductions, marketing, and promotional materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word
