Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Kenora Travelodge. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. You will also be tasked with hiring and training new staff members, as well as recommending additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations when needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with colleagues and clients. You should also be flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure efficient operation of housekeeping services.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend additional services, such as maintenance or repairs, to maintain property conditions.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to achieve seamless service delivery.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
