Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist, Rehabilitation to join our Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team. In this role, you will work with patients/clients who have experienced a stroke, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their goals.
About the Position:
- You will provide speech and language pathology services to patients/clients with stroke, focusing on swallowing disorders and improving communication and conversation abilities.
- You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
- You will participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in stroke rehabilitation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- Valid CPR certificate.
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA.
- Clinical expertise and experience in stroke rehabilitation and demonstrated knowledge of current stroke rehabilitation best practices.
