Food Service Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a Food Service Attendant to join our team at CANADA INC. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods to meet customer expectations.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
- Take customers' orders and handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:
- 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English language required.
