Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable leader to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Director of Contract Facility Management, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for our Facilities Strategic Planning and Land Development portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight in the planning and day-to-day operations of services to drive operational excellence.
- Establish policies, procedures, and budgets to ensure efficient utilization of financial resources.
- Implement re-design and restructuring initiatives to better integrate and streamline services, optimize quality, and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Manage the financial resources to meet initiatives, goals, and targets of the strategic and operating plans.
- Provide strategic direction for planning and management according to Health Authority needs and priorities.
- Oversee and lead authority-wide Master Planning and Lease Optimization Planning.
- Act as a liaison for First Nations and external stakeholder consultations and coordinate First Nations land and development relationships and partnership.
- Liaise with various levels of government as it relates to Capital & Land Development.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree and ten (10) years of recent related experience, including six (6) years of senior management in Real Estate and leadership roles in a large multi-site organization.
Professional/Technical Capabilities
- Demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate legislation, by-laws, and relevant laws and provincial/national standards.
- Proven senior facility project management expertise including the ability to manage in areas such as legal contracts, real estate/market transactions, property management, and First Nations Consultation.
