Job Title: Plumber - Pipe Installation and Repair Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at JAY KALI CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in domestic and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Physically demanding
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

Own Tools/Equipment:

  • Steel-toed safety boots

Personal Suitability:

  • Team player

Experience:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
