We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our elite team at E-Comm 9-1-1. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our public safety networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration: Monitor system health, ensure regular backups, and maintain network equipment
  • Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance, address issues proactively, and conduct tuning to meet service agreements
  • Configuration & Maintenance: Analyze, configure, and resolve network-related issues to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and stability
  • Incident & Problem Management: Provide second-level support, diagnose incidents, and perform root cause analysis on system performance issues
  • Technology & Best Practice Awareness: Stay current with evolving network technologies, best practices, security threats, and protection mechanisms
  • Documentation & Communication: Prepare technical documents, records, and effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
  • ITIL Foundation v3 accreditation
  • In-depth knowledge of network technologies and standards
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Security Requirements:
  • A police security clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained
  • Minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position is 5 years
