Job Title: Pre-Board Screening Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently and effectively
  • Provide professional and courteous information to passengers
  • Verify valid boarding passes and ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology to scan and test baggage for prohibited items
  • Protect restricted areas and maintain a high level of situational awareness
  • Manage conflicts and communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and colleagues
  • Uphold all regulations and guidelines with vigilance and integrity
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year
  • Open availability to work any shift as required by airport operations, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
  • Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
