About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our RBC Enterprise DevOps team. As a Product Visionary, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, roadmap, and development of RBC's developer platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Maintain the DevOps Roadmap
    • Prioritize initiatives and define measurable benefits to application development teams
    • Track key results and focus on on-demand reporting and alignment to RBC's Technology strategic vision
  • Deliver Strong Customer Engagement
    • Develop and execute community engagement strategies, including meet ups, practitioner steering groups, and focused user groups
    • Build strong relationships with RBC's application development team executives and vendors
  • Perform Market Needs Analysis
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform product decisions
    • Understand and continuously research industry trends
  • Accountable for the End-to-End Product Life Cycle
    • Plan, prioritize, document, communicate, and execute rollout plans for initiatives
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Product Management and Agile Experience
    • Strong software engineering knowledge foundation, including advanced knowledge and experience in DevOps, SRE, and more
    • Experience working with data analytics, including Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK)
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and work independently to creatively solve problems
    • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and translator who can connect technology and business audiences
  • Relevant Education and Experience
    • Relevant education in Computer Science, Business, or Marketing with hands-on experience in API delivery, Data Management, and/or Business Analytics
