Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new mechanical components and assemblies for our products.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop new mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD software
* Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) of designs
* Create and maintain technical documentation for new products and design changes
* Develop verification and validation plans and conduct product testing
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

* University degree in Mechanical Engineering, P.Eng. status required
* 5-6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in medical device manufacturing or instrumentation
* Proficient in 3D solid modeling CAD software
* Strong understanding of design process and ISO quality systems
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
