Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at VT Controls Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD) and experience in providing technical support to users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to user inquiries, consulting technical manuals and documents, and providing advice and training to users. They will also be involved in the redesign of applications and software, and will provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users.

The ideal candidate will have a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail. They will be organized, accurate, and able to work independently. The position is a permanent role, with a 35-40 hour workweek and a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health care, and vision care benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to user inquiries and providing technical support
  • Consulting technical manuals and documents
  • Providing advice and training to users
  • Participating in the redesign of applications and software
  • Providing business systems, network, and Internet support to users

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong background in CAD and technical support
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
