About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist individuals with attending medical appointments and social activities.
  • Monitor and record physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to senior staff.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in social and recreational activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Competent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
