Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year



Job Description



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Sasquatch Mountain Resort. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of our equipment.



As a front-line staff member, you will be responsible for routine maintenance tasks, including performing preventative maintenance, dismantling components for inspection, repairing or replacing parts as needed, maintaining and calibrating vehicle electrical systems, and monitoring hydraulic systems for fluid leaks or damage.



You will also be required to maintain accurate records of work completed, report on shop activities, and assist with budget preparation. Your ability to multitask, anticipate issues, and make quick decisions regarding safety is crucial in this role.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Routine maintenance of equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing parts
  • Dismantle components for examination and repair or replacement
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Assist with budget preparation and reporting
  • Ensure safety and good housekeeping practices
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and environmental policies


Requirements



To succeed in this role, you must possess a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic's ticket, have previous experience working with heavy industrial equipment, and be familiar with Microsoft Office. Your strong communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to perform alternate functions are essential.
