Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Teja Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions using computerized testing equipment
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required
  • Order parts and maintain inventory to ensure efficient repairs
  • Adjust equipment and replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and conformance to manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance tasks
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires regular physical activity, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Reliable and accountable for own work
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a heavy duty equipment technician
  • Degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive technology)
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment systems and diagnostics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
