Job Description

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Manager at our Campbell River, BC location. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day operations of the pharmacy dispensary, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Clinical responsibilities, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • Inventory management.
  • Team member scheduling, training, and management.
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and patient needs.
  • Developing and implementing business growth strategies and plans.
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Requirements
  • A Canadian pharmacist in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Completed the mandatory BC Community Pharmacy Manager Training Program (BC only).
  • Completed the Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance and Management Program (OAT-CAMPP).
  • Your Injection Certification.
  • Minimum 1 year Pharmacist experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and other relevant criteria.

The estimated salary range for this position is $63.00 - $66.00 per hour, based on industry standards and comparable positions in the area.
