About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Boyz. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
    • Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
