Job Title: Recruiter for Domestic Students
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruitment Officer to join our team at George Brown College. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting George Brown College to prospective students through various outreach tactics, including high school visits, college fairs, and information sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the college's overall enrolment targets.
- Responsible for promoting George Brown College to prospective students through various outreach tactics.
- Represents the college at province-wide events.
- Organizes schedule(s), makes travel and accommodation arrangements, and prepares and transports marketing collateral.
- Provides comprehensive support throughout the application process.
- Fosters relationships with high schools across the province.
- Guides students, teachers, principals, guidance counsellors, and parent/guardians on post-secondary and career options.
Requirements:
- Two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Marketing, Human Resources, or other related field of education or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Province of Ontario Class G driver's license.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in sales/marketing, public relations, advising, or recruiting, preferably in a post-secondary education setting.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships and engaging/influencing groups and individuals with varying interests.
- Experience with the delivery and support of medium/large-scale events and experience coordinating volunteers during events.
