We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Residential Insulation Specialists Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, as well as advising on tendering procedures and analyzing tenders to recommend awards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Advise on tendering procedures
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards
  • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Requirements:

  • Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
  • Criminal record check
  • Work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 32 hours per week
