Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skilled Care Provider to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Skilled Care Provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist registered staff with nursing diagnostic and therapeutic measures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a holistic approach to resident care, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Deliver care in accordance with current legislation and best practices, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement programs, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our care services.
- Support new staff and promote educational opportunities, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to speak a second language is considered an asset.
- Meet one of the following criteria:
- Successful completion of a Ministry of Education approved PSW Training Program.
- RN, RPN, Paramedic, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy students with successful completion of Year 1.
- Experience working as a Facility PSW is considered an asset.
- Negative T.B. skin test or chest x-ray.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
- Meet health surveillance requirements.
- VSS confirming absence of a criminal history/record.
